Pricing
Flexible plans to deliver enterprise agentic services with any SLA.
Pay-as-you-go
Akka offers you a pay-as-you-go approach through credit cards or marketplace fulfillment with no up-front costs. Only pay for the products you use at per hour granularity.
Committed use contracts
Akka offers you opportunities to access discounts and other benefits when you commit to certain levels of usage. The larger your usage commitments, the greater your benefits, including our 24x7 white glove support and options to flexibly use credits across multiple clouds. Contact us for details.
Free development support
Includes a commercial license for pre-production, confidential attention to tickets, Akkademy training, liability protections and 4-month renewals. If you need an evaluation key without support, see akka.io/key.
Production: Self-managed nodes
Deploy Akka as self-managed nodes into your platform to control how your Akka services are installed, updated, and maintained.
Akka SDK
$5K / year - up to 16 cores
For running Akka services built with the Akka SDK.
Unlimited usage, up to 16 cores.
Licensing includes 8x5 email support.
Custom pricing available for more than 16 cores and 24/7 production support.
Akka Libraries
$5K / year - up to 2 cores
For running Akka services built with the Akka Libraries.
Unlimited usage, up to 2 cores.
Licensing includes 24/7 production support and 5-star technical management to guarantee your success.
Custom pricing available for more than 2 cores.
Self-managed nodes require a commercial license and license key. Self-managed Akka services have Akka clustering-from-within for scaling and resilience. You can package Akka services as standalone binaries, Docker images, or Akka Platform images. Deploy and run Akka services into any container runtime including Heroku, Linode, Render, and Fly.io. Or, deploy and run Akka into your own environments whether powered by bare metal, VMs or Kubernetes. You are responsible for separately managing routes, deployment, persistence, and security.
Production: Akka Platform
Akka Platform provides fully-automated operations for your Akka services to deliver infinite elasticity, no-downtime agility, and guaranteed resilience.
Serverless
Starting at $10 / month
For running workloads with seamless scaling and guaranteed resilience.
The $10 / month hobby bundle includes millions of requests, perfect for small workloads that require no risk of overages.
Akka's Priority and Critical tiers are pricing elastic, starting at $.25 / Akka Hour and incrementally adding hours as you deploy more services, require more scale, or add regions.
Bring Your Own Cloud
Per region / month + SDK license
For workloads that require data isolation and physical resource controls.
Customer pays their cloud vendor for resources. Akka regions are deployed on cloud clusters that cost ~$1,900 / month with nodes that provide 4 service-instance capacity costing ~$240 / month. Details.
Akka Platform requires a subscription that embeds an Akka license key. Deploy into Akka’s Serverless environment or your VPC with BYOC (managed by Akka) or Self-Hosted (managed by you). Deploy Akka Services into multiple Akka Platform regions with automatic data replication. Run Akka regions where you need them, whether in our cloud, your cloud, or any hyperscaler. Backed by 19 security and compliance certifications so that you can have confidence and certainty, even when your LLMs hallucinate.
